Welcome to the Wankowicz lab.

Our goal is to uncover the structural and thermodynamic mechanisms through which entropy governs binding specificity and catalysis. We use machine learning, bioinformatics, and experimental design to probe these questions.

We are part of the Molecular Physiology & Biophysics Department, the Biochemistry Department, the Center for Applied AI in Protein Dynamics, and the Center for Structural Biology at Vanderbilt University.

The lab is located in 735 Light Hall.
